Taking a Break From the Current Series

Some things in life really take you by surprise. This afternoon, I learned that a friend of mine had quite suddenly passed away. Only a few short days ago, I had considered donating money to her current mission project. And now, she is with the Lord. Her absence from this earth will be felt; for, she was such a sweet Christ-follower.

It is in these moments that I think about what I am doing with the Lord in my life. And I ask myself questions like: Am I really following what He has asked of me?

And I ask these questions of you, too: What are you doing with Christ in your life? Are you following after the plan He has for you? Are you surrendered to Him? Do you trust Him to watch out for you?

Let Him. Just, let Him. Oh, how I pray that you would, dear reader. Trust God. Put your life in His hands, and let Him have it. If you don’t know how to do that, feel free to drop me a line. I do not want for anyone to not know. God can handle anything—ANYTHING—you throw at Him. Only, look to Him. Because He's the only one who can save you from you.

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face.
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.“
